This site, dedicated to Valentano, was created in 1999 thanks to the collaboration of the historian and man of letters Commendatore Mr Romualdo Luzi, now President of the Local Libraries Council of the Province of Viterbo.

Most of the texts, taken mainly from the numerous works of which Luzi is Author or Editor, have been completed by the wonderful pictures by Giovanni Ciucci, a well-known local artist, who has kindly donated his photobooks for the realization of this web site.

Many other people have kindly offered their help or accepted the invitation to try to complete and keep updated this tiny place on the World Wide Web. A special thank to Mr Maurizio Firmani for his contributions; to the language teachers, Ms Maria Cesarina Dini and Ms Marina Cerquetti who translated the contents and to Consuelo Codoni for the german translations; Ms Sabrina Radicati, expert in local history and customs, who also held the contacts with the local Associations. Among these ones, the Pro-Loco and his President, Ing. Mr Mario Silvestri. The librarian, Ms Maria Grazia Dandolo, has also given her kind contribution by constantly updating the Library section.
